Daniel Cooper brings more than 20 years of HVAC experience to every project. He began his career in Christchurch in 2003, carrying out residential and commercial heat pump and electrical work. His experience developed across installation, system design, quoting and commissioning.

In 2013, Daniel founded a heat pump sales and installation company, which he ran for ten years before selling in 2023. During that time, the business earned hundreds of positive client reviews. That decade reinforced the importance of listening to clients, delivering quality installations and providing ongoing support.

Heat Pump Upgrade Co brings that experience together. Daniel personally assesses each home, so the person preparing your quotation understands what it takes to install the system properly. The result is considered recommendations, careful planning and an installation he is proud to stand behind.

Rather than selecting a heat pump from floor area alone, we look at the home as a complete system — heat load, airflow, duct design, zoning, ventilation and controls, and how the occupants actually use each space.
